The special holiday bundles that Sony is preparing have leaked thanks to images of the printed packaging shot by Scream777, who claims to work at Sony’s packaging facility. The shots were then posted by SlickDeals and includes both special edition game titles as well as complete gaming bundles for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Move. The deals should hit store shelves in time for Thanksgiving’s Black Friday sale.
The shots reveal packaging for a previously unannounced Mayhem Edition PS Move kit that includes a Sharpshooter peripheral along with Resistance 3 and Killzone 3 game titles. There’s also a box for what’s called the Complete Entertainment Bundle, which includes a 160GB PS3 game console, the game titles Little Big Planet 2 as well as Ratchet and Clank: All for One, and one free month of PlayStation Plus.
The Complete Entertainment Bundle is expected to be around $250 and the source of the images notes that an order invoice for the packaging suggests that they are to be available for Black Friday. The source also included images of the packaging for the 320GB Uncharted 3 bundle and Goldeneye 007: Reloaded Sharpshooter set, which are both already up for pre-orders.
Sony PlayStation Network (PSN) is offering some Summer deals in their PlayStation Store. Between July 12th and July 19 several games will be on sale. PlayStation Plus members will receive nearly a 50% discount, while everyone else will receive a 30% discount.
For those PlayStation Plus members who still have an active PlayStation Plus account thanks to Sony’s Welcome Back Program, really can come away with some good deals on there side. However, none the less if you’re not a PlayStation Plus member, 30% is still a nice discount.
Sony announced over 11 games that will be apart of the sale. Games included are Back To the Future: The Game (the full series), Chime Super Deluxe, Dead Space Extraction, Hard Corps Uprising, Pac-Man Championship Edition Dx, PixelJunk Shooter 2, Risk: Factions, Shank, Scott Pilgrim, Swarm and Tales from Space: About a Blob.
Prices for PlayStation Plus members range from $4.89 – $9.79, while regular users can expect to pay anywhere between $6.99 – $13.99. This are the discounted prices, the normal pricing ranges from $9.99 – $19.99.
