Now we take a look at the rather comprehensive ToysRUs Holiday 2011 Toy Trends report that has for my taste much more cool toys.
The top of their list are App-cessories. Gadget and Apps for your iPad and iPhone. This is a huge trend as tons of kids and even toddlers play with Papa's iPad. My son is playing on the iPhone since he was a year old. ToysRUs highlights Disney Pixar Cars 2 Appmates, iCade Arcade Cabinat for iPad, iMarker Digital Stylus and My3D Viewer.
ToysRUs also highlights quirky stuffed characters including Uglydoll, Kookoo Zoo and Smurfs.
In the games category the toy retailer recommends Angry Birds Knock on Wood, Mario Kart Wii Bowser's Castle Ultimate Building Set, Need for Speed Porsche GT3 RS, Moshi Monsters and Skylanders: Spyro's Adventures.
ToysRUs also sees gross toys as a big trend this Holiday. The recommended toys include The Trash Pack, Incredible Edibles Fright Factory, Doctor Dreadful Zombie Drink Lab and Creepy Crawlers Bug Maker Creation Station.
