It's been all over the news the past few days: Steve Jobs' resignation from Apple. Jobs stepped down after 14 years at Apple, which he co-founded with Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne, after previously taking a medical leave to deal with pancreatic health problems.
So, we're curious about what this means for Apple, and for Black Friday deals on items like iPads, iPods and Macs. The result of Jobs' announcement was an immediate 7% drop in Apple shares. However, analysts have said that they don't expect his resignation to interfere with the release of the iPhone 5 and the new iteration of the iPad in 2012. They point to the fact that investors are happy with the way Tim Cook, the new head of Apple, has been running the company so far as CEO. Looks like Black Friday Apple deals won't be drastically affected.
