Guess what gamers? It’s time for that ad you’ve probably been anticipating the most, even though it probably won’t have some of the best deals. Yes, it’s the GameStop Black Friday 2011 ad! And yes, rest assured that while there are a few deals, there aren’t any uber awesome sales. But hey, at least there will be over 2,200 GameStop stores opening at midnight on November 25, 2011 so you can run in and spend your money!
We’ll go through this ad with lists, as usual. You know, start with the systems, move on to the games, then see the accessories and finally look at any special trade-in or trade-up deals. I’ll mention all the console/handheld bundles shown, even if they aren’t on sale, just so you have an idea of what GameStop will carry. Also, consider shopping for used games/accessories and items if you know the recipient won’t mind it. The back page of the GameStop ad says all used games and accessories will be part of a buy two, get one free promotion between November 25-27, 2011. You could end up saving a lot of money.

Special Deals
- If you buy one select Kinect game, you get one free. - If you trade in an old DS system, you get money off of a new 3DS bundle. The two new bundles, as mentioned earlier, are $199.99. GameStop will take $70 off the price if you bring in a DS Lite, $80 if you bring in a DSi and $100 if you bring in a DSi XL.
- GameStop is buying iOS products and will pay up to $70 for an iPod Nano, $150 for an iPod, $180 for an iPhone and $300 for an iPad.
- Any new, unopened product purchased between November 25, 2011 and December 24, 2011 may be returned by January 15, 2012.So as you can see, there are a handful of deals in the ad. You really have to know your prices though, and know exactly what you’re looking for before making a purchase if you want to get the best deals.Also, there’s something that’s been nagging at me for a while.
