Black Friday is the day which marks the beginning of the Christmas shopping season in the US. It is the day in which most retailers offer substantial discounts at several products in hope to attract and kick off the season sales. And one of the most influential retailers on the market is Sears.

Sears or Sears Roebuck and Co. is an American chain of department stores which focuses on commercializing a large array of products: clothing, footwear, bedding, furniture, jewelry, beauty products, appliances, housewares, tools and electronics. Sears has been and will be a major player during Black Friday, with many attractive offers in many of its marketing areas. From all of these the most notable will be yet again be during the Black Friday 2011 the appliances sales.

Appliances are usually on the top list of many shoppers during the holiday season and Black Friday. Be it for personal use or as a gift, these items usually hold a percentage in the overall market sales. And Sears along with Kmart with which Sears has partnered hold the exclusive rights of Kenmore.

Kenmore Appliances is a line of household appliances with which most American consumer have become accustomed. The appliances which form the line are produced by numerous manufacturers which are renowned in the domain such as Whirlpool Corp., GE, Panasonic, LG, Bosch, Electrolux and Mabe Mexico. The Kenmore products include: Air Purifiers, BBQ Grills, Central Air Conditioning, Cook tops, Dehumidifiers, Dishwashers, Dryers, Gas Furnaces, Heat Pumps, Microwaves, Refrigerators, Sewing Machines, Stoves, Vacuum Cleaners, Washing Machines, Water Heaters, Water Softeners and Window Air Conditioners.

During the Black Friday 2010, from the 160 offers which sears had at different appliances, over 30 of them were solely on Kenmore brand products, a percentage of 20%, which is pretty high considering that this is the most important shopping day of the year. In between the offers, you could see discounts for the following Kenmore products: cookware, coffeemaker, refrigerator, electric range, washer, steam drier or the washer and steam drier bundle, toaster, blender, dishwashers, sewing machine, microwave oven and vacuum with discounts of over 20%.

So, in the Black Friday 2011 we can expect that Sears will yet again offer discounts for their Kenmore line at the most common kitchen and cleaning appliances. The discounts which you can expect will be at least of 20%, as during the previous year, and might reach as high as 50% if the stocks in the stores are high.

And besides the Kenmore line, you can also expect discounts of 20% in average for the following lines: Cannon, Colormate, GE or Hamilton Beach among many others.
