HP Fire Sale Ready to Hit Black Friday 2011

During the second part of August HP launched a fire sale for its Touch Pad at the amazing price of only $99. The HP Touchpad webOS tablets have dropped in price after HP had announced that it will no longer produce webOS devices.

The specifications of the following:

  • 16 GB or 32 GB internal storage capabilities;
  • 1.2GHZ Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core APQ8060 processor
  • 9.7’’ diagonal LED backlit touch display with additional high-gloss finish and scratch-resistance coating
  • 1.3 MP camera and digital microphone
  • Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless

The HP Touchpad webOS tablet is currently, without any competition, the best deal available on the market for tablets. The only downside of the offer is that the eco-system will be completely eliminated from the market. But, considering the increased interest from consumers, it is a high possibility that HP will maintain the webOS active and so as a consequence the webOS app eco system.

The HP fire sale on the HP Touchpad webOS tablet will most probably have a large impact on the Black Friday 2011 shopping season. Because of this fire sale many retailers might be forced to give increasingly low discounts for tablets.

And considering the small rumor circling around that HP will soon be offering other fire sales for Laptops, PCS and Notebooks, if this actually happens, than the Black Friday2011 season might come with tremendous discounts in the electronic computer depart.

Only one element will decide whether or not this happens, if there is an actual demand for the products HP will offer on their fire sale. If there is an increased demand as it was for the HP Touchpad webOS tablet, then you can expect that for Black Friday 2011, many older Laptops, PCs and Notebooks are predicted to come at tremendous discount prices.
