One of the most popular sales items a couple of years ago on Black Friday was the GPS System and it has still not fallen out of the charts. In fact, in the 2011 Black Friday we can expect to see it in the most popular sales category.

In the 2011 Black Friday we can expect GPS Systems which have new updated map systems, which have weather and traffic capabilities and which have larger displays with a larger number of colors and improved visibility.

For this Black Friday season, the predictions are that the prices for GPS Systems will drop in comparison to the previous season, with a large array of products being under the $100 margin. For example, a GPS System with a 3.5’’ LCD display might be found for a predicted price of $39. In fact, the GPS system market for the 3.5’’ LCD display will see an overall increase in name-branded products which have a large array of functionalities for less than $100.

Larger models, with a display of over 5’’ and lifetime traffic service, may be found this Black Friday in between $129 and $149.

The best bargain GPS System for this season is a 4.3’’ LCD display model which has the most important features and especially lifetime and traffic updates and which will be found at bargain prices starting from $129. It might be double or triple the price of similar products which do not have lifetime updates, but considering you will not need to purchase the updates every year or every couple of years, you will actually purchase it at a much lower “final” price.
